Senior Commercial Account Executive 
Circa £40,000 - £50,0000 per year Salary

Permanent Contract 
Location: Newport 
35 Hours Monday to Friday

About the role 



  • Manage commercial clients insurance requirements by conducting regular reviews of their policies and requirements. 

  • Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs, offering tailored insurance or financial solutions, and maintaining ongoing communication. 

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to acquire and retain high-value commercial accounts across multiple industries. 

  • Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that align with company goals. 

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting through closing, including telemarketing efforts and follow-up activities.

  • Oversee sales administration tasks such as contract management, documentation, and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.

About you


  • Proven experience in commercial insurance sales with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets. 

  • Exceptional negotiation skills combined with excellent communication abilities in English. 

  • Knowledge of sales administration processes including contract preparation, documentation management, and CRM systems.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on building long-term client relationships through proactive engagement.

  2. Bankruptcy check – to ensure that staff are not an un-discharged bankrupt.
