The Role

Insurance Account Handler
Salary: Circa £25,000-£35,000 (dependant on experience) 
Full Time Permanent Contract (Part Time considered) 
Location: Brigg & Epworth (multi site) office based 
Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm (with 1hr for lunch)

An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the Brigg & Epworth Agencies.

About the role:

As the Personal and Commercial Insurance Account Handle within our team, you will play a key role in the success of an expanding local business whilst ensuring customers are always happy. Providing exceptional customer service, you will handle enquiries and complete insurance policy changes with a “can-do” proactive enthusiasm. You will also enjoy sales and spotting opportunities for growth. You will relish the challenge of being part of a truly customer focused, ambitious team.
The role requires you to work from both our Epworth and Brigg office locations. You will mostly be based at Brigg for your training. 


About you: 



  • Experience of working in the Insurance/Financial Services industry is preferred, but not essential, with a good understanding of compliance procedures

  • The ability and desire to learn new systems, products, processes and skills

  • Someone who can demonstrate the drive, energy and enthusiasm required to provide a fantastic customer experience to our existing and prospective clients

  • Pro-active with the ability to work independently

  • A confident & effective communicator, both written and verbal

  • A proficient IT user with good interpersonal skills and communication skills. Experience with Customer Relationship Management Systems is an advantage

  • A problem solver who enjoys working as part of a team with a positive can-do attitude

  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks

  • Minimum of Grade C in GCSE Math’s and English (or equivalent)
