An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the Driffield, Howden & Pocklington Agency.


About the role:
Working within our Business Development team, we are excited to be able to offer new roles, specialising in our advised insurance lines, Commercial and High Net Worth.  The successful candidate will have a proven track record in one or other of these areas and with experience of the ‘end to end’ customer journey.  Our Business Development team includes a manager role and coordinator role who support with proactive customer acquisition and initial relationship building and as a Sales Executive within this team, you would be involved in this work at the early stages ahead of presenting quotes to customers and arranging necessary covers.  This team is required to ensure sustainable growth of our Commercial and High Net Worth book through active management of the pipeline and proactively offering insurance quotes from NFU Mutual (and selected products via their internal broking arm), NFU Mutual Risk Management Services Ltd and NFU Mutual Financial Services to existing and potential customers.  
 
About you: 
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a customer facing, sales environment and will be prepared to develop their expertise and knowledge to the benefit of themselves and our business.  You will be computer literate and have experience of using a customer relationship management system (however full training will be given).  Ideally, you will have experience of working within insurance or other financially regulated industry.  Maths & English qualifications are a requirement (please detail these in your CV).  You will be methodical, organised, able to work under instruction and to deadlines and using your own initiative.  You will be able to demonstrate excellent people skills as it is essential that you can build positive working relationships with both colleagues and customers, demonstrating close attention to detail and always considering what else you can add to the customer’s positive experience.
